Moved into house over a year ago.  Made cookie bento for the mailman today.

As previously posted I'm a Saggitarius and prone to tangents.  While bento has forever changed the way I look at and present food, I no longer make bento on a regular basis.

My new tangent?  Art  Currently it is limited to making ATCs or Artist Trading Cards.  But I've been introduced to the idea of the art journal and a new style called Zettiology.  I'm loving the looks of Zetti and can't wait to hit an arts & crafts store for more supplies.

I finally made the hubs a bento again for lunch.  If you can call a PB&J with cheddar cubes and grapes in a ziplock square container bento.  But you'll have to wait for pics, cause I suck and don't know what usb cord goes to what device.  I should put my camera software on the laptop and upload directly to snapfish or something.  At least I can get to the usb ports on the laptop.

Anyway, we're moving into a house in late August!  Already packing one box per day, so the moving has begun.

I'm kind of negative in general.  I've had two lasting experiences on buses that continue to color my perception of the world.

The first one occurred when I was sixteen and about seven months pregnant with my daughter.  A student from another high school sat next to me and proceeded to talk to his friends across the walk way.  That didn't bother me at all, by then I was used to other teens treating me as invisible.  When we got to my stop he was still there.  I said , "excuse me" so that I might get past him and without even looking at me he pivoted in his seat so that his knees were out of my way and continued his conversation.  While my pre-pregnancy self wouldn't have had any trouble squeezing through, I had to get his attention again and point out how large I was before he got the idea.  His friends were properly mortified but he just kinda laughed and said,"Oh, you looked so normal sitting down."  Like I was some kind of freak for being hugely pregnant.  I'm over twice that age now and that incident still bothers me.

The second incident occurred about two and a half years ago while I was pregnant with my second child.  Which basically boiled down to grumpy-ass old people thinking I was hella-rude because I wouldn't give up my seat when I was about three months pregnant and suffering from horrible morning sickness.  They were just lucky that I didn't puke all over them.

In conclusion, people on buses usually are assuming, judgmental asses!

I would like to take a small moment to point out that the main purpose of this blog is to show off my bento.  But as I'm a sagittarius, it's hard for me to stick to one thing without going off on tangents.
